ZANNA VERDINA (1982)

"Since existance of contemporary art, it has always been used not only to describe the outer and most pleasant aspects of existence, but mainly to reveal the whole reality, covering both good and bad. The aim of contemporary art is to challenge the behaviour of society, to create new ideas and new discussions, and also to provoke. It must ask and change how we experience and feel the world."

Artist work in the manner of abstract expressionism, where works are made mostly in mixed technique. Mixed technique became a pure creative freedom, which helped create own personal style and share creative vision with several people.

An artist who is not accustomed to “the system” in art, she does not want to hear about the boundaries, because the art, in her sense - is freedom, and everyone has her own.

Contemporary paintings are not contradiction, they are the origin and fate of every image. There is an abstraction before reality: if we imagine the world before the world, no images come to your mind, but something abstract. And when images are forgotten, they are once again destined to return to the abstract absence from which they come.

The main thing is to create paintings that emotionally strike a human soul, - artistically reproducing the essence of our life, trying to show the world from a different point of view, trying to draw a person's attention both to the problem in society and to look at one's own essence.

Contemporary art can intersect and interact with emotion that the viewer is already experiencing, hoping to move viewers to another time and space where they can feel a heightened sense of inspiration — “a place where emotion deeply touches the soul.”
